Until today, on June 10th, in Romania, 20.945 cases of people infected with COVID – 19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 15.103 were declared cured and discharged.

At the same time, so far, 1360 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection, hospitalized in Dolj, București, Iași, Suceava, Arad, Bacău, Timiș, Cluj, Neamț, Hunedoara, Constanța, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Ialomița, Bistrița-Năsăud, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Vrancea, Galați, Caraș-Severin, Mureș, Giurgiu, Bihor, Argeș, Vaslui, Botoșani, Alba, Sălaj, Brașov, Mehedinți, Teleorman, Gorj, Prahova, Vâlcea, Călărași, Maramureș, Olt, Ilfov, Harghita, Tulcea and Buzău, they died.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 196 new cases of illness have been registered.

At the moment, 150 patients are hospitalized at ATI.

On the Romanian territory, there are 2.212 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 99.349 people are in solitary confinement at home and are under medical supervision.

Until today, 520.564 tests have been processed at national level.

In the last 24 hours, 465 calls were registered to the unique emergency number 112 and 1397 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), open especially for informing citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures for preventing and combating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 141 sanctions for minor offenses, amounting to 154.650 lei.

Also, through the competent structures of the Police, 5 crimes were found yesterday to thwart the fight against diseases, a deed provided and punished by art. 352 Penal Code.

On 9th of June, 102 persons who did comply with the measure of isolation at home or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days .

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, according to the diplomatic missions and consular offices of Romania abroad, 3.304 Romanian citizens were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19: 1.885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 84 in France, 617 in Germany, 97 in the United Kingdom, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 4 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey and one in each following countries Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil and Sweden. From the beginning of the COVID-19 epidemic to the present, 114 Romanian citizens abroad died – 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 6 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA and one in Brazil.

Among the Romanian citizens who are confirmed with the new coronavirus, 28 have been declared healed: 9 in Germany, 9 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.

Note: these data are obtained by the Romanian diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad, either from the competent authorities of the states of residence, insofar as these data are subject to public communication, or directly from Romanian citizens abroad.

Until 9th of June, 2020, 1.444.710 cases have been reported in the EU / EEA, the United Kingdom, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland, Andorra. Most cases have been reported in Italy, France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom.
