Until today, on June 11th, in Romania, 21,182 cases of people infected with COVID – 19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 15,283 were declared cured and discharged.

We mention the fact that the way of reporting the deaths of people with COVID-19 infection has been changed, in the sense that their number will be communicated daily, integrated, in the newsletter broadcast at 13.00, mentioning age, sex, county and the presence or absence of comorbidities.
Until today, 1,369 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.
Between 10.06.2020 (10:00) – 11.06.2020 (10:00) were registered 9 deaths (4 men and 5 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in the counties of Bacău, Buzău, Dolj counties , Harghita, Suceava and Bucharest.
Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 40-49 years, 5 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 1 death in the age category 70-79 years and 2 deaths in people over 80 years.
All deaths are from patients who have experienced comorbidities.
Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 237 new cases of illness have been registered.
At the moment, 153 patients are hospitalized at ATI.
On the Romanian territory, there are 2,213 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 101,455 people are in solitary confinement at home and are under medical supervision.
Until today, 531,619 tests have been processed at the national level.
In the last 24 hours, 407 calls were registered to the unique emergency number 112 and 1,287 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), open especially for informing citizens.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures for preventing and combating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 117 contravention sanctions, amounting to 130,600 lei.
Also, through the competent structures of the Police, 3 crimes were found yesterday to thwart the fight against diseases, a deed provided and punished by art. 352 Penal Code.
At the same time, on June 10 a.c., 79 persons who did not comply with the measure of isolation at home or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days or the measure of institutionalized quarantine was ordered for a new period of 14 days.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 3,368 Romanian citizens were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1,885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 84 in France, 681 in Germany, 97 in the United Kingdom , 28 in Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in USA, 4 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, United Arab Emirates United, Malta, Brazil and Sweden. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and until now, 114 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 6 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA and one in Brazil, they died.
Of the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 28 were declared cured: 9 in Germany, 9 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
