The National Committee for Emergency Situations updated the list of states exempted from the application of quarantine / isolation measures following the meeting of July 6 a.c. The exception applies from July 7 to asymptomatic people arriving in Romania from Andorra, Austria, Belgia, Bulgaria, Cehia, Cipru, Croația, Danemarca, Elveția, Estonia, Finlanda, Franța, Germania, Grecia, Irlanda, Islanda, Italia, Insulele Feroe, Letonia, Liechtenstein, Lituania, Malta, Marea Britanie, Monaco, Norvegia, Polonia, Slovacia, Slovenia, Spania, Țările de Jos, Ungaria, Vatican, precum și din state terțe – Algeria, Australia, Canada, Coreea de Sud, Georgia, Japonia, Maroc, Noua Zeelandă, Rwanda, Thailanda, Tunisia, Uruguay. The updated list can be consulted on the website of the National Institute of Public Health, at the link www.cnscbt.ro.
Until today, on July the 5th, in Romania, 29.620 cases of people infected with COVID – 19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 21.927 were discharged, of which 20.534 patients were cured and 1.393 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection.

At the same time, so far, 1.799 people diagnosed with COVID-19 died.
Between 06.07.2020 (10:00) – 07.07.2020 (10:00) were registered 31 deaths (18 men and 13 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Argeș, Bacău, Botoșani, Brașov, Dâmbovița, Galați, București, Mureș, Olt, Prahova și Timiș.
Among these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 40-49, 2 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 7 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 12 deaths in the age category 70-79 and 9 deaths of persons over 80 years old.
30 deaths occurred in patients with preexistent comorbidities.
Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 397 new cases of illness have been registered.
At the moment, 231 patients are hospitalized at intensive care units.
Until today, 783.337 tests have been processed at national level.
In the last 24 hours, 440 calls were registered at 112 emergency number.
The police and the gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 453 sanctions, amounting to 46.000 lei, for minor offenses regarding the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, 5.095 Romanian citizens were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19: 2.275 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 107 in France, 2.275 in Germany, 97 in the United Kingdom, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 6 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil, India, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Greece and Sweden. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic, 122 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA and one in Brazil, died.
Among the Romanian citizens who are confirmed with the new coronavirus, 72 have been declared healed: 50 in Germany, 10 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
