Until today, on July the 11th, in Romania, 32.079 cases of people infected with COVID – 19 (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 23.613 were discharged, of which 21.414 patients were cured and 1.793 asymptomatic patients were discharged 10 days after detection and 406 patients confirmed positive discharged on request.

At the same time, so far, 1.871 people diagnosed with COVID-19 died.
Between 10.07.2020 (10:00) – 11.07.2020 (10:00) were registered 24 deaths (16 men and 8 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeș, Botoșani, Brașov, Buzău, Dolj, Galați, Maramureș, București, Olt, Prahova and Sibiu.
Among these, 1 death in the age category 30-39 years, 5 death in the age category 50-59 years, 4 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 7 deaths in the age category 70-79 and 7 deaths of persons over 80 years old.
23 of deaths occurred in patients with preexistent comorbidities and one for a patient with no preexistent comorbidities.
Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 698 new cases of illness have been registered.
At the moment, 239 patients are hospitalized at intensive care units.
Until today, 838.953 tests have been processed at national level and a number of 493.858 persons have been tested.
In the last 24 hours, 400 calls were registered at 112 emergency number and 1.017 registered at TELVERDE (0800 800 358).
The police and the gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 1.738 sanctions, amounting to 242.880 lei, for minor offenses regarding the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other countries, 5.104 Romanian citizens were confirmed to be infected with COVID-19: 1.885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 107 in France, 2.275 in Germany, 97 in the United Kingdom, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 105 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 2 in Greece and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil, India, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Sweden. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic, 122 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA and one in Brazil, died.
Among the Romanian citizens who are confirmed with the new coronavirus, 157 have been declared healed: 135 in Germany, 10 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
