Until today, on September 13th , in Romania, 103.495 cases of people infected with COVID – 19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed.
43.025 were declared cured and discharged and 11.283 asymptomatic patients were discharged at 10 days after detection.
Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 1.109 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test. At the same time, so far, 4.163 people diagnosed with COVID-19 died.
Between 12.09.2020 (10:00) – 13.09.2020 (10:00) were registered 36 deaths (20 men and 16 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Bihor, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brăila, Brașov, Constanța, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Giurgiu, Hunedoara, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Mureș, Neamț, Prahova, Sălaj, Satu Mare, Sibiu, Timiș, Tulcea, Vaslui and Bucharest.
Among these, 3 deaths was recorded in the age group 50-59 years, 9 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 14 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 10 deaths in the age category over 80 years.
In 32 cases death occurred in patients who had comorbidities and in one case there were no comorbidities registered.
In the specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7.027. Of these, 465 patients are hospitalized at intensive care units.
Until today, 2.081.644 tests have been processed at national level. Of these, 14.784 were performed in the last 24 hours, 8.978 based on the case definition and medical protocol, and 5.806 on request.
In Romania, 10.835 people confirmed with the new coronavirus are in isolation at home, and 5.780 people are in institutionalized isolation. Also, 37.409 people are quarantined at home, and 5 persons are in institutionalized quarantine.
In the last 24 hours, 784 calls were registered to the unique emergency number 112
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures for preventing and combating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and the gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 966 sanctions, amounting 266.100 lei.
Also, through the competent structures of the Police, 1 crime were found yesterday, regarding the thwart the fight against diseases, for crimes provided and punished by art. 352 Penal Code.
We remind the citizens that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has operationalized, starting with 04.07.2020, a special telephone line TELVERDE (0800800165) where violations of the sanitary protection norms can be notified.
The calls are taken over by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified issues.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 6.599 Romanian citizens were confirmed as infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1,905 in Italy, 1253 in Spain, 124 in France, 2.935 in Germany, 159 in Great Britain, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in the USA, 111 in Austria, 20 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 19 in Greece, 5 in Cyprus, 2 in Ukraine, and one each in Argentina, Tunisia , Ireland, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil, India, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Congo Republic Hungary and Qatar. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and until now, 126 Romanian citizens abroad died: 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA, one in Brazil, one in Congo Republic and one in Greece.
Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 338 were declared cured: 308 in Germany, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
