Until today, on September 29th, on the territory of Romania, 125.414 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.
100.636 patients were declared cured.
Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 1.470 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test. Until today, 4.792 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.
Between 28.09.2020 (10:00) – 29.09.2020 (10:00) there were registered 44 deaths (30 men and 14 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in din Argeș, Bacău, Brăila, Brașov, Buzău, Constanța, Dâmbovița, Dolj, Gorj, Hunedoara, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Mureș, Sibiu, Suceava, Teleorman, Timiș, Tulcea, Vâlcea and Bucharest.
Among these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 20-29 years, 2 death was recorded in the age category 40-49 years, 3 deaths were recorded in the age category 50-59 years, 14 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 15 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 9 deaths in the over-80s category.
The deaths presented comorbidities, and in one case there were no comorbidities.
In the specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 7.527. Of these, 551 are hospitalized at intensive care.
Until today, 2.393.670 tests have been processed at national level. Of these, 21.330 were performed in the last 24 hours, 12.992 based on the case definition and medical protocol and 8.338 on request.
In Romania, 10.435 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home, and 7.341 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 23.816 people are in quarantine at home, and in institutionalized quarantine there are 179 people.
In the last 24 hours, 1.219 calls were registered to the unique emergency number 112 and 602 to TELVERDE (0800 800 358).
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 222 sanctions for minor offenses, amounting to 44.850 lei.
Also, through the competent structures of the Police, 2 crimes were found yesterday, regarding the thwart the fight against diseases, a crime provided and punished by art. 352 Penal Code.
We remind the citizens that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has operationalized, starting with 04.07.2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where violations of the sanitary protection norms can be notified.
The calls are taken over by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified issues.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 6.694 Romanian citizens were confirmed as infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1,917 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 2,935 in Germany, 159 in Great Britain , 28 in Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in USA, 119 in Austria, 20 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus, 93 in Greece, 5 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 1 in the United Arab Emirates and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, the Republic of the Congo, Hungary and Qatar. From the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic until now, 126 Romanian citizens abroad died, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece,.
Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 733 were declared cured: 613 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
