CONVICTED FOR TRAFFICKING IN MINORS, CAUGHT BY ENFAST COOPERATION

Following the cooperation between Romanian and German Police, a man, convicted of forming an organized criminal group and trafficking in minors, was found.

On October the 2nd, 2020, a 26-year-old Romanian citizen, wanted at national and international level, for committing the crimes of forming an organized criminal group and trafficking in minors, was found by German judicial authorities.

He was caught following cooperation between the F.A.S.T. Romania, through the Follow-up Service within the I.G.P.R. – Criminal Investigation and F.A.S.T. Germany.

Against the person in question, the Timiș Tribunal issued a warrant for the execution of the prison sentence.

In fact, in August 2013, the person in question, a beneficiary of other people’s support, abducted and sexually exploited two minors in Timiș County.

E.N. – F.A.S.T. (European Network of Fugitive Active Search Teams) encompasses all national „Tracking” structures to achieve closer cooperation between EU Member States on location, arrest and surrender. persons pursued on the basis of the European arrest warrant.

ENFAST became operational on the 1st of October 2012 and it is an informal contact network and cooperation group, in all aspects, for finding and arresting international prosecutors.

The aim of the ENFAST project is to increase the degree of security within the European Union, by effectively increasing the activity of prosecuting and arresting internationally prosecuted criminals.
