On April 11th, 2023, Mr. Secretary of State Quaestor General of Police Bogdan DESPESCU received Mr. Shane DIXON, Security Attaché at the US Embassy in Bucharest and Acting Deputy of the Head of Mission, on the occasion of the end of his mandate in Romania.
During the meeting, the bilateral collaboration carried out during the three-year mandate of the American security attaché was reviewed, with an emphasis on the operative field, as well as institutional development through the training programs organized by the American side.
At the end of the meeting, the two interlocutors reiterated the importance of further strengthening Romanian-American cooperation in the field of internal affairs.
