Until today, on June 27th, in Romania, 26.022 cases of people infected with COVID – 19 virus (coronavirus) have been confirmed. Of the people confirmed positive, 18.530 were declared cured and discharged.
Number of confirmed cases, by counties, according to the report of the National Institute of Public Health:
Until today, 1589 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection have died.
Between 26.06.2020 (10:00) – 27.06.2020 (10:00) were registered 10 deaths (6 men and 4 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Bistrița-Năsăud, Brașov, Buzău, Galați, București, Neamț, Prahova and Suceava.
Among these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 50-59 years, 4 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 4 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 1 death in a person over 80 years.
All deaths are from patients who have experienced comorbidities.
Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, another 325 new cases of illness have been registered.
At the moment, 199 patients are hospitalized at ATI.
On the Romanian territory, there are 1.061 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 69.472 people are in solitary confinement at home and are under medical supervision.
Until today, 677.259 tests have been processed at national level. We mention that the reporting is partial, not including the data from 12 laboratories, out of the 112 that currently operate.
In the last 24 hours, 423 calls were registered to the unique emergency number 112 and 914 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), open especially for informing citizens.
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures for preventing and combating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and the gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 460 of contravention sanctions, amounting to 159.552 lei.
Also, through the competent structures of the Police, were found, yesterday, 6 crimes to thwart the fight against diseases, a deed provided and punished by art. 352 Penal Code.
At the same time, on June 26 a.c., 52 persons who did not comply with the measure of isolation at home or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days or the measure of institutionalized quarantine was ordered for a new period of 14 days.
Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 4.795 Romanian citizens were confirmed as infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1,885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 107 in France, 2.075 in Germany, 97 in Great Britain, 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 6 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus and one each in Argentina, Tunisia , Ireland, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil, India, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Sweden. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and until now, 115 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 7 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA and one in Brazil, they died.
Among the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 72 were declared cured: 50 in Germany, 10 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.
