Until today, on November 10th, in Romania, 314,295 cases of people infected with the new coronavirus (COVID – 19) have been confirmed.

211,408 patients were declared cured.

Following the tests performed at national level, compared to the last report, 7,304 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19) were registered, these being cases that had not previously had a positive test. The distribution by counties of the total and new cases can be found in the table below.

* Regarding the “new cases not allocated by counties”, we specify that their number is determined by the changes brought to the electronic platform through which the test results for the new coronavirus are reported and centralized. Thus, according to the new methodology, the testing centers directly introduce the results of the tests performed, and the epidemiological investigation will be performed at the level of the Public Health Directorates and positive cases will be assigned to the county / locality to which the infected persons belong.

The coefficient of infections accumulated at 14 days, reported per 1,000 inhabitants is calculated by the Public Health Directorates, at the level of Bucharest Municipality and counties. Below you have the chart based on the reports received by CNCCI from the Public Health Directorates:

 

Aside from the newly confirmed cases, following the retesting of patients who were already positive, 1,682 people were reconfirmed positively. The distribution by county of these cases can be found in the table below.

Until today, 8,186 people diagnosed with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died.

 

Between 09.11.2020 (10:00) – 10.11.2020 (10:00) 177 deaths (92 men and 85 women) were reported, of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeș , Bacău, Bihor, Bistrița-Năsăud, Botoșani, Brașov, Buzău, Călărași, Caraș-Severin, Constanța, Covasna, Dâmbovița, Gorj, Harghita, Ialomița, Iași, Maramureș, Mehedinți, Olt, Prahova, Mare, Sălaj, S , Suceava, Teleorman, Timiș, Tulcea, Vâlcea, Vaslui, Vrancea, Ilfov and Bucharest.

 

Among these, 3 deaths were recorded in the age category 30-39 years, 6 deaths in the age category 40-49 years, 12 deaths in the age category 50-59 years, 47 deaths in the age category 60- 69 years, 67 deaths in the age group 70-79 years and 42 deaths in the over 80 years category.

 

160 of the registered deaths are of some patients who presented comorbidities, and for 17 deceased patients no comorbidities have been reported so far.

 

In the specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized with COVID-19 is 12,727. Of these, 1,093 are hospitalized at ATI.

 

Until today, 3,519,095 tests have been processed at national level. Of these, 31,005 were performed in the last 24 hours, 18,988 based on the case definition and medical protocol and 12,017 upon request.

 

In Romania, 41,272 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are in isolation at home, and 12,767 people are in institutional isolation. Also, 81,518 people are in quarantine at home, and 19 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

 

In the last 24 hours, 5,031 calls were registered to the unique emergency number 112 and 1,234 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), open especially for informing citizens.

 

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 9 a.c., 7,927 sanctions for minor offenses, amounting to 1,111,531 lei.

Also, through the competent structures of the Police, 4 offenses were found yesterday to thwart the fight against diseases, a deed provided and punished by art. 352 Penal Code.

 

We remind the citizens that the Ministry of Internal Affairs has operationalized, starting with 04.07.2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where violations of the sanitary protection norms can be notified.

The calls are taken over by a dispatcher, in an integrated system, and distributed to the territorial structures for the verification of the notified issues.

 

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 6,862 Romanian citizens were confirmed as infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (coronavirus): 1,934 in Italy, 1,253 in Spain, 124 in France, 3,018 in Germany, 167 in United Kingdom, 36 in Hungary, 28 in Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 4 in USA, 123 in Austria, 22 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 8 in Switzerland, 3 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus , 93 in Greece, 9 in Cyprus, 2 in India, 2 in Ukraine, 8 in United Arab Emirates and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malta, Brazil, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Sweden, Republic of Congo, Qatar, Vatican , Portugal and Egypt. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and until now, 126 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 11 in Spain, 14 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA, one in Brazil, one in the Republic of Congo and one in Greece, have died.

Of the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus infection, 797 were declared cured: 677 in Germany, 90 in Greece, 18 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.

Note: these data are obtained by the Romanian diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad, either from the competent authorities of the states of residence, insofar as these data are subject to public communication, or directly from Romanian citizens abroad.

The TELVERDE number is not an emergency number, it is a telephone line strictly assigned for informing citizens and is valid for national calls, from Monday to Friday, between 08.00 and 20.00. Also, Romanians abroad can request information about preventing and combating the virus at the line specially dedicated to them, +4021.320.20.20.

As of 9 November 2020, 9 245 073 cases have been reported in the EU / EEA, the United Kingdom, Monaco, San Marino, Switzerland, Andorra. Most cases have been reported in Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Germany.
